Definitely one of the more perfect days of the winter. This was the weekend they were talking about running the Mav's contest, but didn't because the swell wasn't quite as big as expected. I think the buoys were around 11 feet at 18 seconds, but the conditions were perfect. Offshore winds and warm weather for weeks surrounded this day.

However, after a few waves I sprained my MCL pretty bad so it kind of ruined the day/next few weeks. Fortunately this was one of the last really good surf days and we were in a huge dry spell so I didn't miss any powder days in Tahoe. The knee is better now, got a new lens for some imrproved shots this upcoming Fall and Winter.
